How We Report
What a numbered Report is, how it is put together, what a Briefing is for, who writes them, and the things we will not do.
Who we write for
Vitalitätsreport is written for adults past forty who want to understand what is in a bottle before they buy it. The reader we picture is a healthy adult standing in a store aisle or looking at an Amazon listing, wondering whether the numbers on the label mean anything.
That is the whole job: read the label, compare it with the published reference intakes, say what the research does and does not show, and be clear about who should ask a clinician first. We are not a medical site, we do not sell anything, and we do not think a reader's age needs a sales pitch attached to it.
What a Report is
Every product page is a numbered Report (R-01, R-02 and so on). Each one covers a single product from an established brand that is sold on Amazon.com under a listing we opened ourselves on the day the Report was written.
A Report opens with the summary strip: four short cells that say What it is · What the label shows · Who it may suit · Watch-outs. The strip is the Report in miniature. It is written last, after the body is researched, and it is kept free of claims. If you read nothing else on the page, read the strip.
The four checks
The body of every Report follows the same four checks in the same order. We do not skip one because a product looks familiar.
1. What it is
The product in plain sentences: the form, the serving, the count, who makes it, and what the seller says it is for. The seller's wording stays attributed to the seller. We do not repeat it as our own.
2. What the label shows
We read the full Supplement Facts panel line by line, from the label images and text on the Amazon listing and on the manufacturer's own page. Every amount is set beside the reference intakes and upper limits published by the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements. We list the other ingredients and any allergen statement.
Seals get the same scrutiny. We credit a certification mark only when it is printed on the label and, wherever the certifier keeps a public directory, when we found the product in that directory. A "GMP facility" line is a legal requirement, not a seal. "Third-party tested" with no named program tells you nothing, and we say so.
3. What the evidence shows
Ingredient by ingredient, we look for human research at amounts close to what the label delivers. We prefer primary sources: PubMed and PMC, the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements fact sheets, Cochrane reviews, EFSA and FDA material, and position stands from scientific societies. Findings are hedged to match what the studies showed: "in some small trials," "evidence is mixed," "not studied at this dose."
4. Who it may suit, and who should look elsewhere
We describe everyday situations, not diagnoses: someone who eats little fish, someone whose multivitamin already covers a nutrient, someone who takes a blood thinner and should ask a pharmacist before adding anything. We do not run lab tests, and we do not give medical advice.
Every Report closes with the price, size and where it is sold, all dated ("$xx.xx on Sep 30, 2026"), and a Sources list of the pages we actually opened.
What a Briefing is
A Briefing (B-01 to B-05) is not about a product. It is a routine or a label-reading skill for a healthy adult: what to do, in what order, with the research behind each step, and where a supplement would even fit. A Briefing never answers "what should I take for X." It answers "what does a sensible morning, evening or label check look like."
The byline
Every page is signed "Vitalitätsreport Editorial Team." That is a collective byline for the people who research, write and check the pages. We do not invent an author, attach a credential we do not hold, or add a "reviewed by" line with a name on it. Nobody on the team is your clinician, and nothing here creates that relationship.
If you need to cite a page, cite the publisher: Aurora Group Platforms LLC, at the address on the Contact page.
How we make money
Vitalitätsreport is monetized through one program only: Amazon Associates. Every Report has a single link to the product's Amazon.com listing. If you buy through it, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
No brand pays us, sends us free product, or sees a Report before it is published. We do not link to any other store, and we do not run sponsored reviews. The commission is the same no matter what a Report says about a product, so it does not change what we write. Details are in our Affiliate Disclosure.
What we never do
- We never run laboratory tests of our own. When we mention testing, we name the program or say plainly that the testing status is not disclosed.
- We never give medical advice. If you take medication, are pregnant or nursing, or have a health condition, talk to a clinician or pharmacist before starting anything new.
- We never publish testimonials, or customer reviews as evidence.
- We never promise results. A Report describes what a label contains and what the research found, not what a product will do for you.
- We never name a private individual, invent an expert, or borrow a well-known person's face or name to sell a point.
- We never present a price as current. Every price carries the date we saw it.
- We never use pressure: no countdowns, no "only a few left," no "act now."
Corrections
If something on this site is wrong, we want to hear about it: a price that has moved, a formula that has changed, a study we described badly, a seal we should not have credited, a link that no longer works.
Write to us through the Contact page with the Report or Briefing number, the page address and what you found. We check the claim against the original source. When we confirm an error, we fix it, update the date on the page and, if the change alters what the Report concludes, say so on the page itself.
How often a Report is reviewed
Every Report and Briefing shows the date it was last updated. A price, a listing or a formula is only as current as that date. We revisit a Report when something material changes: a reformulation, a listing that disappears, a new study that matters, or a reader correction. We do not promise a fixed schedule, because a schedule we could not keep would be worth less than an honest date.
